Forexample,ifthe
surfaceareabeing

foranaccuratereading.
b.Aimtheinfraredlensatthetargetandpress
theSCANbuttontodisplaythesurface
temperature.The white light automatically
turns on to illuminate the target.

suppliedwithadefaultemissivityof0.95,which
standardformostuses.Theemissivityofthe
thermometercanbechangedfrom0.05(5E)to
1(100E).Only experienced personnel should
attempt to make changes.Forinformation
relatingtotheemissivityofspecicmaterials,
